Flat embroidery is the default way to put a logo on a 112. Battle Born Clothing runs two commercial single-head machines, a Happy HCD2-1501 and a YunFu 15-needle, with Rapos thread and Maggie magnetic cap frames. Up to 6,000 stitches is covered by the standard price.

Digitizing is $18.99 once per logo (standard 2-day) and is never charged again on reorders. **Every embroidery price covers one design up to 6,000 stitches. Above that, each additional 1,000 stitches adds $2.00 (1-11 pcs), $1.50 (12-23), $1.00 (24-59), $0.60 (60-79) or $0.50 (80+) per piece**, rounded up to the next 1,000; we tell you the exact count with the proof. ## Logo size and stitch count on a 112

The usable front area on a 112 is about 4 in wide by 2.25 in tall. Most company logos digitize to 3,000 to 6,000 stitches at 3 in wide. A 1-color wordmark can be under 2,000. Large solid fills push counts up fast; a 4 in filled rectangle alone is roughly 8,000 stitches. If your logo is big and solid, a leather patch is usually cheaper and looks better.

### Thread colors

Up to 15 colors per design on the YunFu head with no color charge. We match Pantone references to the closest Rapos thread and show it on the proof.

### Fine detail

Text under about 0.25 in tall and lines thinner than 1 mm do not embroider cleanly. We simplify or enlarge on the proof and tell you what changed.

## Which Richardson caps embroider best

- 112, 115, 312, 511, 112FP, 168: structured fronts, cleanest results.
- 110 R-Flex and 225: structured, fine.
- 220: unstructured; keep designs under about 5,000 stitches with light fills.
- 256 and 258 rope caps: keep artwork under 2 in tall above the rope.

## What to send

Vector art (AI, EPS, PDF or SVG) is best. A clean 300 dpi PNG works. Tell us thread colors or Pantones, the style and color combo, and the quantity. Artwork digitizing happens after you accept the quote; you see a sew-out simulation on the proof.

## Questions
**Is there a minimum for embroidered 112s?** No hard minimum. 12-23 caps price at $20.50 each all-in plus digitizing; 24 and up are $20.50 too, and 48 and up drop to the next tier.

**Do you charge per thread color?** No. Up to 15 colors are included. Only stitch count affects price.

**Can you match a previous embroiderer's digitizing?** If you have the DST or similar file we can usually run it, but we test it first. If it sews poorly we re-digitize for $18.99.
